Hi All, I am halfway finished cleaning up the patch, I got stuck on a network driver problem on some STR9104 device (but i think i've finally solved it). Anyone who want to test it, can download the patch from: http://tinyhack.com/agestar/patch-2.6.28-str9104-v3.bz2 http://tinyhack.com/agestar/config-2.6.28 And apply it to original linux 2.6.28. This is not the final patch, in a few days, I will make a cleaned up patch for 2.6.29 I was going to submit a new machine type for this, and name it str9104, but on the "Machine type:", it says that This must: ... "not be the name or part number of a CPU or SoC" ... What would be the appropriate Machine Type for this SoC? -- Regards Yohanes http://tinyhack.com/freewarelist/s603rd/ On Fri, Mar 13, 2009 at 11:37 AM, Yohanes Nugroho <yohanes@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > On Wed, Mar 11, 2009 at 8:54 PM, Bill Gatliff <bgat@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: >>> If I am willing to do that, would this kind of thing be >>> accepted to the mainline kernel?
