Failure to register RPC service | |

I apologize if this is the wrong mailing list for this question. I have a RPC service (VXI-11) that ran fine when I was using the 2.6.24.3 kernel but now is failing to run on the 2.6.28.1 kernel. I get an error message " Cannot register service: RPC: Timed out unable to register (DEVICE_ASYNC, DEVICE_ASYNC_VERSION, udp)." when I run my application. The only thing that's changed is the kernel, what in the kernel could possibly cause this to happen? I'm using an IXP465 processor. Thanks.
