Configure Kernel for SBC2440II

Greetings,

I try to compile a kernel for my SBC2440II board. For this I follow  
the instructions of the howTo of the FAQ (http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/docs/kerncomp.shtml 
).

In the machine list I found my board (http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/developer/machines/?action=list&id=1963 
) added Nov 2008. To use the config macro I downloaded the source of  
the 2.6.28.1 kernel.

But how can I use the config macro to configure the kernel?
