Hi all,

I have configured the kernel to compile for the freescale i.mx27ads
board. I use freescale given compiler. The kernel version is 2.6.22.

# make ARCH=arm
CROSS_COMPILE=/opt/freescale/usr/local/gcc-4.1.2-glibc-2.5-nptl-3/arm-none-linux-gnueabi/bin/arm-none-linux-gnueabi-
uImage

I get the following warning:
....
....
WARNING: arch/arm/mach-mx27/built-in.o(.data+0x44): Section mismatch:

When I load the image on the target a kernel dump happens as follows.

What could be wrong here and how severe is the implication of this?

Any help is appreciated.

Thankyou.
Tiju
