Can the dynamic link object search path change after the app has been compiled?

 Dear all:
Now I cross-compile Busybox1.00 as dynamic link mode for smdk2410.Then I meet a problom. when the kernel comes to run the "init" supported by busybox, because busybox is compiled dynamic, thus the ld-linux and libc.so and so on libraies' path are hard coded into the busybox as elf format which is /usr/local/arm/2.95.3/arm-linux/.... which is also my cross-compile tools' path.

Therefor ,if I just put the libraries in the /lib of my development board ,the kernel comes to an error which is "init: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: cannot load shared object file: No such file or directory el panic: Attempted to kill init!"

can I change the path of the library to /lib in busybox elf format file directly after compile?
Thandks
