ARM Linux distributions

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I've been using the "snapgear" distribution for some time now and
successfully implemented a 2.4 kernel in a proprietary IXP420 board (at
that time the network libs were available only for kernel 2.4). After
that I successfully implemented a 2.6 kernel in a proprietary AT91RM9200
board.

Now I'm preparing myself to try the Freescale i.MX27L also in a
proprietary board and am looking for alternate ARM Linux distributions.
I noticed that the page named "ARM Linux 2.6 Release Notes" maintained
by Russel shows only to kernel 2.6.4. What about the latest kernels?

Where can I get updated ARM Linux distributions and tools? Snapgear
currently comes with kernel 2.6.18, so I guess someone out there may
have a newer distribution.

Thank you,

(Nestor)
