building kernel with gcc-4.3.x | |

Has anyone built a working kernel for ARM using gcc-4.3.x? I can build a toolchain, kernel and rootfs using gcc 4.2.4, and everything runs fine under QEMU. However, when I update gcc to 4.3.x (I've tired 4.3.0 and 4.3.1) then everything still builds fine, but the kernel doesn't boot. I don't even get the first line of the kernel boot messages. I'm using binutils 2.18, glibc 2.7, kernel 2.6.24 (I've tried 2.6.25.9 too just in case, but I get the same result).
