CS on SPI slave device & probe | |

Hi all, I have a Atmel AT91 sam9261 evaluation board, I wanted to try out a SPI slave device, and wanted to know the probe mechanism of the SPI subsystem. I added a SPI device (removing ADS7846 entry from the ek_board_info ) , to the same chip select which the ADS7846 used. (CS=2). I inserted my driver but couldnt get the probe called, how can have my driver's probe function called ? How exactly is the probe function called ?
