Have you tried md5'ing files on the USB device, > to make sure they're not getting munged in other ways? Seems that reading/writing is OK. The md5 sums seem consistent and correct. Running binaries from USB disk fails also with UP kernel. Running files from other filesystems works OK (e.g. NFS). So looks like driver issue. Cache coherence? By the way - should CONFIG_OABI_COMPAT be enough to run OABI binaries (e.g. debian/arm)? I managed to debootstrap lenny/armel into NFS root and EABI binaries work fine as does my statically linked OABI test binary, but but running debian/arm binaries from etch does not seem to work with my kernel (2.6.25-rc3 + Catalin's patches). -- http://www.iki.fi/~ananaza/ ------------------------------------------------------------------- List admin: http://lists.arm.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/linux-arm FAQ: http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/mailinglists/faq.php Etiquette: http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/mailinglists/etiquette.php
