Seems that reading/writing is OK. The md5 sums seem consistent and
correct. Running binaries from USB disk fails also with UP
kernel. Running files from other filesystems works OK (e.g. NFS). So
looks like driver issue. Cache coherence?

By the way - should CONFIG_OABI_COMPAT be enough to run OABI binaries
(e.g. debian/arm)? I managed to debootstrap lenny/armel into NFS root
and EABI binaries work fine as does my statically linked OABI test
binary, but but running debian/arm binaries from etch does not seem to
work with my kernel (2.6.25-rc3 + Catalin's patches).
