Thanks for the pointer. I am using 800x600 resolution. The image is not flickering completely as you mentioned. In my case, normal window movements are proper but the window containing image files show some delay in moving from one place to another. I understood that Cirrus FB is not concerned with this as this is entirely handled by Xserver which is from xorg in my situation. In general when windows are moved, what functions are invoked. These must be in Xserver and not in kernel framebuffer. Enabling trace messages in Xserver is resulting in different kind of errors (like image itself not loading, etc). Regards.
