Realview & USB

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Ok, now that I have a PB11MPCore with working ethernet, I'd like to
have also functional USB :-)

Is anyone using the ISP1761 with a realview board? The linux patch
delivered with the hardware is for 2.6.22 and that patch contains a
driver for the ISP1761. I am able to e.g. mount an external USB disk,
copy files from/to but there are problems running binaries from the
USB disk. It looks like faulting code in somehow fails, but if the
stuff is already in buffer cache, everything is fine:

/ # chroot /mnt/misc /bin/bash
Illegal instruction
/ # cp -ia /mnt/misc /tmp
/ # chroot /mnt/misc /bin/bash
bash: no job control in this shell
bash-3.1#

The driver looks like it's based on the gumstix adaptation of the
Philips driver. Another ISP1760 driver seems to be available on the
linux-usb mailing list.

Anyone using ISP176x with a Realview board? How successfully? Which
driver?
