No, my HW is not EB, it's PB: http://www.arm.com/products/DevTools/PB11MPCore.html the support for which is not (yet? :) in mainline. So I got a binary kernel from ARM and it behaves as all earlier ones I've tried - ARP queries get out of the interface but the PB11MPCore box does not see the answers. Sigh - just my luck. Sometimes I think hardware hates me. I just returned a broken USB disk, my thinkpad had broken LCD, my Lauterbach trace box had broken ethernet interface, the power supply in one of my home PCs died a few months ago (but that I managed to fix by just changing some capacitors - and my kids were quite impressed :-) Anyway - thanks again for everyone and sorry for the noise. -- http://www.iki.fi/~ananaza/ ------------------------------------------------------------------- List admin: http://lists.arm.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/linux-arm FAQ: http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/mailinglists/faq.php Etiquette: http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/mailinglists/etiquette.php
