power/energy tools

Hi,
I'm doing some investigations into what is available for the ARM
platforms as far as SW power/energy measurement or prediction tools,
especially for Linux.

For the x86 platforms you have for instance Powertop
(http://www.lesswatts.org/projects/powertop/). Is something like this
or similar available for ARM?

Nokia has an interesting Energy Profiler tool available for ARM
Symbian S60 (http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/324866e9-0460-4fa4-ac53-01f0c392d40f/Nokia_Energy_Profiler.html),
has something like this ever been created for ARM Linux?

I appreciate any ideas or pointers.
Regards,
Petter
