Two hints: 1) The LCD driver is probably causing a change in console availability, which means that you may not be getting an OOPS as the console is locked. Try with just a serial port as console 2) Check what changed in the LCD drivers and any users of them in the kernel, you will find what you are looking for. -- Ben Q: What's a light-year?
