RFH in obtaining documentation

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello Russell, list

This is a request for help in obtaining documentation for Marvell Media Vault http://www.marvell.com/products/media/index.jsp processors like 88F5182, based on a 926ej-s core. They are used in Linkstation Pro by Buffalo (http://www.linkstationwiki.net/index.php?title=Information/LSPROOverview), some Maxtor devices. The devices run Linux kernel 2.6.12 with patches from Montavista. There is an ongoing community effort to upgrade systems to a current kernel and to properly integrate SoC's components with Linux kernel APIs.

As you can see from the first link there is no freely available documentation for these CPUs on Marvell's site, attempts to email them for datasheets have so far been unanswered.

We'd like to ask you, Russell, or anybody else on the list, having contacts to Marvell, if you could assist us in getting the required information.

Thanks
Guennadi
