Problem with PCMCIA on PXA255, Kernel 2.6.15

Hi,

I am experiencing a consistent problem with pcmcia on a pxa255/sa1111 board which (by searching the archives) may be similar to a problem previously raised by Stefan Thomasson on 16th Jan, 2003, which seemed to be solved for kernel 2.5,
however I am experiencing the same problems using kernel 2.6.15.

When transferring in excess of 2Mb of data using a Orinoco Gold Wireless card (Cisco has also been tried), I get
the following message and sftp stalls.

NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0: transmit timed out
eth0 Tx timeout! ALLOCFID=0127 TXCOMPLFID=03b1 EVSTAT=808b

hda: lost interrupt

In attempting to trace this bug we have included a 500microsecond delay prior to reading in sa1111_irq_handler() in sa1111.c. We acknowledge that this is not ideal, but with this addition transfers in excess of 2MB can be performed, with the number of failures described previously greatly reduced, but still occurs without an identifiable pattern of occurrence.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Barbara
