In terms of modprobe, I have it installed, however Compulab has included libc-2.2.2 in their 2.6.7 image as opposed to libc-2.2.3. Since modprobe requires glibc 2.2.3, I get the following error whenever attempting to use modprobe: "modprobe: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.2.3' not found (required by modprobe)" I'm still holding off on reimaging my system with a 2.4.xx kernel as I will try to obtain or cross compile serial_cs.ko (i just tried to insmod a serial_cs.o arm binary I found on the web, which didn't work "insmod: error inserting 'serial_cs.ko': -1 Invalid module format" [I didn't expect it to work as .o modules are for 2.4.xx only] nor did it when I renamed the file to serial_cs.ko) first. So I will need to try and find the .ko or make a .ko from the source and then attempt to insmod that. -Nathan ------------------------------------------------------------------- List admin: http://lists.arm.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/linux-arm FAQ: http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/mailinglists/faq.php Etiquette: http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/mailinglists/etiquette.php
