Sorry, I just realized one more thing: I'm concerned the older ppp/pppd version that I am now using, 2.3.10-3 may only be 2.4.xx friendly. If you notice this line from the error message I mentioned: "cardmgr[465]: module /lib/modules/2.6.7-armcore/pcmcia/serial_cs.o not available" you'll can see specifically that serial_cs.o is what's being looked for. My understanding is that modules for 2.6.xx end in .ko while modules compatible with 2.4.xx end in .o. I'm concerned that even if I were able to obtain serial_cs.o, it would not load with my 2.6.7 kernel. And if I were to obtain serial_cs.ko, it would not be recognized by my version of ppp. Is this going to be an issue? If so, any possible work arounds? Thanks & I applogize for the two posts on one topic in one day. -Nathan ------------------------------------------------------------------- List admin: http://lists.arm.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/linux-arm FAQ: http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/mailinglists/faq.php Etiquette: http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/mailinglists/etiquette.php
