If people like you aren't contributing the necessary efforts then the "community" can't be seen as serious. Stop waiting after the "community" since you're also part of it. For my part I'm serious about making Linux 2.6 work well for real life usage so that's where my efforts go. If for any good reason you cannot be actively part of the community then I suggest you re-read my mail in this thread about the free gift to you this very list is all about.
