There are patches (1941/1, 2436/2, 2402/3, 2397/1) to add support for
the AT91RM9200 to 2.6 in the patch system.
Are there any major outstanding issues stopping them from being merged?

I think the sooner it gets merged, the sooner the drivers will follow,
and then people will have less reason to use 2.4 (at least for for new
products).
