It's unclear to me what IXP425 port is connected to what part of the
KS8995X, it's not clear to me what that "Ethernet HUB" is (the built-in
switch in the KS8995X, just another hub, or a switch which you call
hub), and also what the "another IXP425 unit" is (the ixp0 interface,
or another ixp425 board).
I think part of the confusion is because you don't understand what the
difference between an ethernet hub and an ethernet switch is. Try this
