I don't think the installer ever gets that far with the FC4-x86_64
version. I don't ever see any indication that a kernel has started to
run. Even with CentOS, which does get further, nothing on the screen
before it goes blank indicates that a kernel has started.

BTW, I had already tried "linux text". No difference. :-(
