Matt, Thanks for the quick respond, I don't know why, like you said the 29160 should work because I see the AIC7xxxx adapter driver I was like hmmmmm... but for some reason it just refuse to load....The Funny thing is that Redhat 8 installed Successfully .... I know lots of people use Newisys Systems, but lots of people use Rioworks motherboard as well(at least I got 2) Red Hat might want to "request" a motherboard from Rioworks for testing(I think they're more than happy to get their names on RedHat compatility list), or better yet, get it from some company that "sells" Opteron system with RioWorks motherboard like mine, I got mine from CCSI (http://www.opteronics.com/). If you need one of their contact person I can give you mine. It will be great if we can work this out because I really like Redhat :) Regards Jackson T. Administrator
