If you have short term needs our company Colfax (AMD Opteron Launch
Partner) will rent the machines. (for a fee)

Subject: recommended vendor for AMD64 machines?
This is slightly off-topic, but probably the correct audience for this
question...
I'm looking to purchase an AMD64 server, to evaluate GinGin64. I'm
looking for these features:
1. No smaller than a 2U case.
2. SCSI (not IDE) disks.
3. Price in the $2,000 to $3,000 (USD) range.
(I could deal with a cramped 1U case if necessary, but I *really*
don't want IDE disks, as I want a realistic performance comparison
with our existing Dell PowerEdge servers.)
Any recommendations? (Any dis-recommendations?)
Thanks,
