PHOTOS: PHL - August 20, 2011 A few good things today. But what a surprise. My house (18 miles north of PHL) was perfect blue sky. No clouds. By the time I get to the Penn's landing area (5-6 miles from PHL) a fog started to build. The photos speak for themselves after that. Lucky it lifted in time for the An-124 departure. Also lucky it was late. A nice Gulfstream (N7LA) several Unicons including a 737-500 & -700. A Republic with a blue nose cone. According to the pilot, who was asked last week (and I missed it), it was struck by lightning. Plus a trip to PHL wouldn't be complete without a strange bug on my windshield. Ignore the OT photos in the group if they annoy.
