The intersection of runways 22 and 26 at Bluegrass Airport, Lexington, KY is 38d02m24.29s N, 84d36m04.44s W. It is reported tape recordings have crew of Comair flight and tower discussing taking off from 22 but the aircraft departed from 26. Any pilots have opinions on the choice of a sure crash by aborting against the chance of flying at inadequate speed?
