Air Kiribati launches this week

   The newest Pacific island airline, Air Kiribati, intends to begin
   revenue service this week.

   The carrier plans to serve Kiribati with flights to Fiji, Tuvalu and
   Nauru.

   Fiji has fairly regular airline connections to large surrounding nations
   but Kiribati, Tuvalu and Nauru can involve changing planes several times
   and using smaller carriers.
