--device=eth0 -- –hostname=myhost but the problem is that during the
installation it tries to bring eth0 up and get the IP address (eventually
timing out). If I don’t put that line in the kickstart
file, all the interfaces are silently configured for DHCP and and
the hostname is not configured. Don’t configure the network in
the kickstart and write the hostname configuration from the %post section; or configure
a dummy IP with the network option then edit the network configuration in %post? Moray. |
