The pkgdb is for package maintainers to manage ACLs on their packages.
You're looking for the "packages" app:

https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/s/editor

This gives vim etc. as result.

The Pkgdb frontend only searches/lists package names based on the regex,
not summaries and descriptions. The packages app does that.

pkgdb -> maintainers
packages -> users

https://apps.fedoraproject.org/ gives an idea of what each
infrastructure application does.
