you refuse to understand me

you CAN NOT replace gmp with a different version
because half of the operating system depends on the
one shipped with fedora

you have to COMPILE GIAC against the gmp-version
which is shipped with fedora or if this is not possible
upgrade to F17 which ships gmp-5
