Thanks! That is how I dealt with html email. Didn't strike me I could do
the same with attachments. :)

I came across Dovecot during my Internet searches but wasn't sure if it
was suitable for laptops. Thanks for confirming. :)

I'm a very intense Emacs user. :) In my search for IMAP capable email
clients, Mutt and Gnus (another Emacs based news/email reader) were on
the top. I'll include Mew to that.
