Both the Everything and Updates-Testing repositories were on a local http server. I didn't get either from local media (CD, DVD nor hard drive).
Unfortunately, due to _employer_policies_, not everyone is allowed to setup http or ftp servers. That is why I specifically indicated local hard drive or NFS.
