possible aesthetic bug at boot (f8test3)

hi guys,
i just noticed a (possible) aesthetic bug on my fedora 8 test3.

it appeared after the last kernel upgrade but i think is not just
related to the last versione... here what happened.

i have a laptop with f 8 test3 and it was installed without swap area.
(during the boot there was no bug)

i created a swap area in /var/swap1 and i added the line to fstab:
/var/swap1              none                    swap    sw              0 0

i did a general software update during the night and from the day after
i saw this output between kernel loading and rc script run:
"Unable to access resume device (/var/swap1)"

of course, during nash execution the real root (and var) is not mounted
so swap1 in not accessible.

i examinated the initrd image and i found in the init file:
...
insmod /lib/scsi_wait_scan.ko
rmmod scsi_wait_scan
mkblkdevs
resume /var/swap1
echo Creating root device.
mkrootdev -t ext3 -o defaults,ro LABEL=/1
echo Mounting root filesystem.
mount /sysroot
echo Setting up other filesystems.
...

i think that the last kernel update run an mkinitrd command and used
the swap from the /etc/fstab but this is not available before mounting the
real root fs.

now, i don't know what the "resume" command is used for by nash,
it's used when the system wake up from the standby/sleep mode?
if so i think i will not file the bug, otherwise i wish to open it on bugzilla.
any suggestion?
