I have such a beast running RedHat 7.2+ as a backroom server. It's very stable as is, but the software is getting pretty moldy and I'm considering bringing it to modern times. But it is a PC164 (old processor) w/ srm (to escape MILO) which is old enough to be left behind even in the alpha crowd:-/
It is not that old. :) I am running AC2 on AS200/233 (ev45), PC 164LX 533 (ev56), PWS 600 (ev56). All machines with SRMs. There was small "qboot2" (~100M) disk available to check if AC2 could be bootable. Try it and you will see. :) Regards, Sergey. tsv@xxxxxxxx
