From School Library Journal
Grade 3-6-These series titles examine the manufacturing processes of specific products in a step-by-step, straightforward manner. Although the authors try to simplify their descriptions, younger, less-accomplished readers may struggle with some vocabulary and the more complex sequencing. At least one good-quality photograph appears on every page. The illustrations help to clarify the text and will pique the interest of browsers. Unfortunately, while the focus on one company (and one facility) lends authenticity to the production steps described, some children may see this as a product endorsement, particularly in the case of the snowboards. Still, these are items and topics of high interest, and libraries will want to consider purchasing these titles.
